Browsing and local preferences

Public research pages can be viewed without an account. Chart and indicator preferences may be stored locally in the user's browser. Hosting and security providers may process ordinary request information such as IP address, device data, timestamps, and requested URLs.

Accounts

Authentication is provided by the hosting platform's Sign in with ChatGPT flow. Polaris does not receive or store a ChatGPT password. The application may store a one-way account identifier, public display name, watchlist entries, alert rules, reactions, reports, and moderation records in Cloudflare D1.

Email brief

When a visitor voluntarily subscribes, Polaris stores the normalized email address, consent timestamp, signup source, and subscription status in Cloudflare D1. The address is used only for Polaris market briefs and service notices. It is not displayed publicly or sold.

Public community activity

Ticker-room posts and reactions are public. Reports and blocks are used for safety and moderation. Users should not publish personal, confidential, or regulated information in a public post.

External services

Polaris uses market, filing, search, translation, hosting, security, and AI providers to deliver requested features. Original-source links take users to third-party websites governed by their own policies.
